For a campus that started in 1858, when the art critic, patron and philanthropist John Ruskin opened Cambridge School of Art. The art school grew to become Anglia Ruskin University, shortened to ARU, and now the Students have one of the best student bars and facilities in any current campus thanks to the bistro style student union community facilities.
